Lee Ryder
Founder, Chief executive Officer
Lee Ryder is a founder of Corrett. Prior to Corrett he was President and founder of University Communities from 2007 to 2021 where he oversaw acquisitions, construction, and operations of over $2 billion of transactions which included the sale of the company in 2021. As President of University Communities, Lee drove strategic direction, business growth, operations oversight, executive team development and all aspects of the company. Prior to University Communities, Lee was CFO and Director of Acquisitions for the student housing division of AIMCO (NYSE Ticker: AIV) where he oversaw over $1 billion of student housing transactions. He sits on the Student Housing Council of the Urban Land Institute. Mr. Ryder holds a B.A. in Economics from St. Lawrence University and an MBA from the University of Denver.
Scott Pomeroy
Founder, Chief Investment Officer
Scott Pomeroy is a founder of Corrett. Prior to founding Corrett, Scott Pomeroy was the Vice President of Investments for University Communities, joining the company in 2010. His primary responsibilities included overseeing acquisition, disposition, and financing activities in addition to asset management and investor reporting functions. During his tenure, he was directly involved with over $2 billion in closings, including the sale of the portfolio in 2021. Prior to University Communities, Mr. Pomeroy was a commercial real estate financing underwriter at private real estate capital firms including Johnson Capital. Mr. Pomeroy holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Virginia.
Dennis Hardie
Partner, Chief Operating Officer
Dennis Hardie is a partner at Corrett. Prior to joining Corrett, Dennis Hardie served as the Chief Operating Officer of University Communities and subsequently Yugo (USA). During his 15 years with University Communities and Yugo (USA), Dennis oversaw property operations of the national student housing portfolio that comprised 40 assets and over 16,000 beds. Additionally, he was involved with a variety of aspects of the business ranging from acquisitions, construction management, and asset management. During his tenure, Mr. Hardie was involved in $4 billion of acquisitions including the sale of the University Communities portfolio in 2021. Mr. Hardie holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of Colorado and an M.S. in Real Estate and Construction Management from the University of Denver.
